I made a Paw Protector

It’s no secret to my friends and family that I am in love with my new little puppy Sakura. She is currently only 12 weeks old. My boyfriend and I have only had her for three weeks and she has proven to be quite a handful, but in the end we still love her. This winter has been rough for her. Whenever we take her outside she gets too cold within a minute and begins to whimper. She lifts her paws up while doing her business one at a time so that they can take a second off the ground. It’s just to cold for her little body to handle.

As you can see the snow goes past her little paws and she’s not too happy about it.

So when I saw a video appear on my facebook for a wax that you can rub on your dogs paws that prevents the snow and salt from hurting their paws I was on board. The video was two years old but I figure it was still worth a shot since it had over 28 million views.

The recipe calls for

3 oz of Beeswax

3 tbsp of Calendula Oil

3 tbsp of Avocado Oil

3 tbsp of Coconut Oil

All you have to do is put all three ingredients together in a pot ON LOW until it becomes completely liquid. Then you pour the liquid wax into preselected containers and wait until dry. I went to the container store and selected little tins and used cupcake liners for the rest

when I used them on her paws the results where like magic! My little pup Sakura was able to not only go to the bathroom without pain on her paws but able to run around and have some fun before returning back inside!

So because of my dog’s happy paws I decided to give away 8 to those who subscribe to my blog for free!
